Type Alias: Metric

type Metric = "rms" | "peak";

Defined in: display.ts:11

  • rms (default): root mean square — follows perceived loudness. Speech and music keep a natural shape; the best default for chat bubbles and players.
  • peak: largest absolute sample — the classic DAW envelope. Never misses a transient, but dense material (speech, mastered music) looks blocky.
